This is a quite large canvas it is 16x20. I cover it with a tile compound to make the texture. Sometimes it takes 1 to 3 days and then once it’s at my desirable texture, I leave it to dry and then I do a painting over it at the very end before I ship, you have the option for me to put a clear sealer over it or to keep it just the raw painting look. My name is Alex gardner and this piece is made by me of course! I love working with these materials because it’s actually not easy at all I thought it would be since I have made dozens of sculptures but the compound I use is a lot thinner than clay so I do have to let it dry and layer it multiple times.
